I just got this in the mail from HeadQuarters: "Your contest has expired."
I guess Will wins part two of our most important contest to date. Here's the score so far (covers parts 1 and 2):
Alex: 6
Ben: -40
Chris: 0
Jack: 5
Juls: 5
Mike: 0
Penny Arcade: 2
Will: 20
OK, so now we have to start the third part of the contest. Write a piece of short fiction. It should be written in the 'dream' vernacular. So you have to write in the first person past tense, and then add in "I'm not sure how I knew this, but"s and "I don't really know where ______ came from, but"s and it should end with "And then I woke up." OK, go.

Okay, here's the thing about Sentimental Cannon. It's going to be part of a whole series of multi-genre games, each building on what happened in the previous game. And all the boxes will be able to combine and form a sphere, and it will be called Project Game. Posted by jack at May 27, 2004 07:47 PM |

i'd like to point to the left side of my browser window and note that i can no longer post because I DON'T HAVE A FUCKING LEFT SIDE NAV ANYMORE. please contact Headquarters and have them fix this ASAP. not sure how this happened, but safari no longer parses that out, apparently. Chris: It should be fixed now. It wasn't ever broken here, though, so I just did a rebuild on the database. Posted by Ben at May 27, 2004 08:21 PM |

I am with the Chris party on this issue. I am fully unable to view the left-side nav. I believe it may have something to do with your silly lightning-ball post. It is dually strange, since I cannot access this left-side nav from my laptop at home, however, my desktop at work can view the entire site, albeit with a messed up stylesheet (the vertial line spacing is, oh, about 72 point for whatever reason). i concur with the silliness that has transpired since electrical bizzalls appeared on the scene. it's us or the lightning balls, ben... us or them. ::sniffle:: Posted by mike! at May 27, 2004 08:55 PM |

dear jess: well, it looks like the promotions positions were sucked up internally before they were sent out for an open call. they've also hired on like 20-some-odd interns, so they have their hands full. i'll keep a lookout on the internal postings though and see if anything else interesting turns up. i know a couple girls in promotions that might be getting upgraded, and if that happens then there might be a couple entry-level type slots that open up. anyway, i'm tellin you - you gotta check out the paper store here on division. it's TOTALLY your gig.
