Locations - How should we go about location searching? Maybe we should look at each type of place we were considering - stripmall, house in a commercial district, stand-alone building, and see what feels best. Maybe drive around Longwood, along Aloma, maybe look at that place Bryan was talking about?

CHI Healing Center seems to have a pretty interesting take on bringing people in… they allow their space to be used for people who simply want to host classes, meetings, events… I know we’ve talked about this — I like the way they present it.

Our Audience

So… here’s a post dedicated to finding our audience, our patrons, our comrades, and our clients.

I was just thinking about all of the people I got to know when I was living in Orlando — all the people in the open mic circuits… And how much they’d totally adore the fact that I was running a venue. We would have so much support, between the Buddhisattva crew, the Guinivere’s crew, the Stardust crew… and all of the people that ran between all of them… There’s a lot of love in Orlando — and a lot of people that I could easily get to help us bring people in.

Then, Stetson… While we don’t have many people left over there, we do have connections with professors who would work with us on bringing people out to our venue — especially if we are offering cool writing workshops, or book circles… at the very least, we can do some advertising on campus. We know the good places to hang up signs, etc.
